Ubisoft has launched a Decentralized Verification Network (DVN) in collaboration with LayerZero, marking a significant step toward blockchain interoperability in gaming. The system allows seamless migration of NFTs and in-game currencies across different blockchains using LayerZero’s omnichain messaging protocol.

The gaming giant now operates its own nodes and clients, giving players unprecedented flexibility to use digital assets across multiple Ubisoft titles or external platforms. This infrastructure could facilitate complete blockchain migrations should Ubisoft decide to shift any of its crypto games to alternative networks.
